Our Mission: To provide a quality, safe and fun therapeutic program which includes therapeutic horseback riding, hippotherapy services, and interactive vaulting for special needs children and adults with wide ranges of ability. To enable special needs individuals to learn basic riding skills and to promote independence and self-confidence in our riders.

To offer a clean and comfortable environment where our riders can enjoy nature and form special relationships with horses.

Our Vision: To accommodate 75 riders per week, 40 weeks per year.

To continuously create new programs for our riders, including music, art, theatre (role-play), vocational and other therapeutic activities.

To create, promote and maintain cutting-edge technology in the therapeutic industry.

Therapeutic Riding: Offers clients with disabilities an opportunity to learn and appreciate a horse’s movement through riding, communicating and caring for a horse. Therapeutic Riding is a recreational activity that can improve overall strength, endurance, attention and function while having fun! Therapeutic riding can include mounted and non-mounted activities, and is provided at a pace appropriate to the level of the client. Therapeutic riding is maintained by a licensed instructor who is specially trained in therapeutic riding, as well monitored by a registered therapist.

Interactive Vaulting: A confidence-boosting and team-building activity designed for able-bodied individuals to enjoy working with horses in a very unique program. Interactive Vaulting consists of three to five students participating in a group activity that includes performing gymnastic moves on the back of a horse at the walk, trot and canter. A specially trained instructor works the horse on a lunge line during a vaulting session. Individuals take turns helping each other mount and dismount the horse, as well as game playing. Interactive Vaulting is a wonderful program for children, teens and adults with emotional issues, anxiety difficulties and attention disorders.

Hippotherapy: A medical treatment for clients with a variety of health issues including movement dysfunction, cognitive impairment, sensory processing difficulties and language delays. Hippotherapy uses the natural movement of the horse to affect therapeutic intervention by eliciting appropriate adaptive responses from the client. Hippotherapy is performed by a specially trained physical, occupational, speech or psycho therapist and can improve balance, posture, mobility and physical and emotional function as well as enhance circulatory, respiratory and digestive systems.

In order to participate in either the Therapeutic Riding or Hippotherapy program, we ask that you complete and return ALL required paperwork. This will allow us to better determine which program might be right for you or your child.
